Advanced Warning of Works Bridge Installation A45/A46 Coventry -march 6th

To enable the installation of the new bridge and tower over the A45/A46 the road will be closed in both directions from the Stivichall Island to the Tollbar End Island as detailed below. 

The installation is scheduled to take place;

Friday 6TH March 8.00pm until Monday 9th March 06.00am
 
Monday 9TH through Sunday 15th March night closures 8.00pm until 06.00am
 
The works are taking place over a normal weekend when the traffic flows are at their lowest. o The works have been planned to avoid peak holidays times. o The works have been planned to avoid bank holiday weekends.
There will be traffic diversions in place utilising the A444, A4082 and B4110 during the closures and as you will appreciate we expect the works to cause significant congestion within this area. To ensure the efficient and safe operation of the diversion Saint James Lane will be closed at the B4110 junction with a local diversion in place. We advise drivers to avoid this area if possible and allow for extra time for their journeys.
