Over the Christmas period during one of Cllr Trevor Wrights drive around the rural areas he covers he cam across one of the most extreme examples of fly tipping of 2019 on the Birminigham Road at Stoneligh.
There were bags and bags not just thrown on the highway but into fields as well and most of it was normal DOMESTIC waste that can easily be disposed of at one of the recycle centres we have. This abuse cost YOU the tax payer THOUSANDS to clear up and is very damaging to the countryside and wild life in our area. Action is in place the "Clean it up" and if we can identify the perpetrators WE WILL PROSICUTE them. We need to stamp this out so here are some guidelines...…. If you come across FLY TIPPING please do not touch it or clean it up, instead please report it to our Neighbourhood team at www.warwickdc.gov.uk/info/20465/rubbish_waste_and_recycling/283/flytipping Or call 01926 456128 Its important that you don't touch it as it could be hazardous and it may contain vital evidence for us to prosecute. We are working hard to stamp this out but we need your support. Comments are closed.
