HS2 are carrying out archaeological mitigation work on land adjacent to Leicester Lane in Cubbington. Archaeological mitigation works involves recording any archaeology within the area that was located during our archaeology trial trenching work. A team of archaeologists will be working on the site to carefully record any findings for approximately 16 weeks.
As a consequence In order to create a safe access on and off the work area, temporary three-way traffic lights will be in operation on Leicester Lane from Monday 5th October for approximately one week from 8.30am until 3.00pm. You may wish to allow extra time for your journey.
