Did you know that as part of the move towards the need to reduce emissions and improve air quality it is now a requirement that all new developments in the WDC area have external electric charging points to encourage & accommodate the increasing use and demand for electric vehicles
Attached is a notification issued by HS2 with regards to Ground Work operations within our area that may cause disruption.

We are very much aware of the local concerns with regards to HS2 and its overall impact and disruption in our area particularly as some of the pre construction work has already started in our area. We are also aware that various elements continue to cause problems and as a consequence of this during March we will be holding meetings with both Jeremy Wright MP and HS2 to voice your concerns. ![]() On 12 March at 6pm at Leamington town Hall Councillor Pam Redford, Warwick District Parish & Town Champion, has arranged a meeting. Following concerns raised by Parishes that felt their views, objections and comments were being ignored by planners. There is great concern in the amount of building which is taking place in our district This meeting is to help Parish Councils to understand the legal and statutory issues facing WDC when applications are being made in addition to help WDC planning officers to understand the concerns and reservations within the community. |
