The work will we be doing We will be creating a plant crossing on Coventry Road, Cubbington for our haul road. Haul roads are temporary roads provided within a working area to allow for the movement of construction materials, construction machinery and/or construction staff around the site. Haul roads are Balfour Beatty Vinci’s preferred logistical transport link, as they reduce the number of vehicle movements interfering with the existing local road network and provide the greatest possible control over works activity. This crossing will allow us to safely move our construction plant across the road as we undertake various earthworks in the area. In order for us to create the plant crossing safely it is necessary for us to close Coventry Road, Cubbington. A fully signed diversion will be in place during this closure and access to all properties will be maintained during these works. When these works will take place The closure will take place from Monday 7 March to Saturday 26 March, the road will be closed between the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm, with temporary traffic lights in operation outside of these times. While the closure is booked to include work on Saturday 26 March, this will be dependent on progress. If the Saturday closure is necessary, the closure will be in place from 9.30am to 1pm. Our workforce may be on site for one hour before and one hour after to set up and secure our equipment.
