Its national gardening week, we all know the benefits of gardening and the positive impact in terms of health & wellbeing, impact on the environment, understanding nature and of course its pleasant to look at. In the past 4 years your Conservative led council have invested in enhancing and conserving green space whilst at the same time making our parks and green spaces great places to visit. If elected this will continue by working with residents on new projects such as Newbold Common and the Leamington River Parkway. Gardens are a particularly important part of our communities in Warwickshire and rightly so too. The link below will provide more information about National Gardening Week for you to enjoy.
www.rhs.org.uk/get-involved/national-gardening-week Sometimes there's a view that we don't particularly care about Green issues ?
Far from it , for example as your current Conservative Representatives , We care passionately about or environment and green space. For example it is Cllr Pam Redford and Cllr Trevor Wright working with the Parish Councils that have insisted on a variety of measures and monitoring of the disposal of contaminated land on the Coventry Gateway south. Additionally we have led significant discussions with HS2, Highways England, WCC and all of the housing development companies about the traffic congestion, provision of cycle and pathways along with vehicle charging points. Cllr Trevor Wright has worked with St Marys Cubbington to help them achieve a Bronze Award as an ECCO church which given its a 16th Century church is some achievement. Sometimes other parties claim to have the monopoly on green issues , instead we look at practical cohesive strategies that support the community and the environment not just in the Rural areas but within the Urban areas too. Only by voting Conservative on May 2nd we will be able to continue building upon existing policies and strategies to protect our community and environment. We all know that housing is a key issue across the country.
In Warwickshire under the Conservative administration over the past 4 years we have built the first new council housing for over 30 years and halved the waiting list. Additionally, we have put in more resources into tackling homeless issues whilst protecting the vulnerable including opening a 24/7 hostel for rough sleepers and a safe area for women at risk. Over 38% of new homes build since 2015 are affordable and if elected we will add over an additional 1000 affordable homes over the next four years. This is just one reason why we need your support and help to continue to build and develop a prosperous and great community and we can only do this if you vote Conservative. We don't assume anything and we expect to earn your vote as our record demonstrates if you follow the link below and you will see what we have done to hopefully earn your vote and confidence
We maybe Conservatives but we put our community at the front of everything we do. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhEHTxNg3FM As the Local Elections get closer, we would like to re-confirm once more that We focus on YOUR ISSUES in OUR Villages including The Impact of HS2 on OUR Community The PROTECTION of OUR Green Belt against urban sprawl Policing of the community TO REDUCE speeding and crime We are YOUR VOICE on issues that affect OUR area On housing & commercial developments Support Services Environmental Impacts Funding & Grants WE HAVE secured Funding & Grants for our Community Baginton & Bubbenhall Cubbington & Stoneleigh/Ashow Defibrillators in every area “We have and will continue fighting for better services and value for money for OUR Community but we can only do this with your support by voting for PAM & TREV on Thursday May 2nd |
