![]() Talk about a great investment. Last Saturday saw the official opening of the new and vastly improved Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre Leamington WOW, now It is fair to say Cllr Redford and I could not be regarded as sporty, but this facility will blow your socks off! Its great for absolutely everyone no matter what you like to do and with over its 3000 members already a great success and investment for the future. The official ribbon cutting and revealing of a plaque was undertaken by the Chairman Cllr Stephen Cross & Cllr Michael Coker and there were a number of speeches and presentations, all of which was sometimes eclipsed by the screams of children enjoying themselves in the sports hall (which is how it should be) If you haven't been you should. More details here WE would love you to come and spend your money so much so that you can park for free.....
Warwick District Council is hoping to give Leamington town centre’s retailers an added boost in the run up to Christmas by once again offering free parking in Covent Garden to support Thursday late night shopping and by opening up their HQ car park at Riverside House at weekends. From this Saturday 17th November until Christmas Eve shoppers will be able to park for free at the Warwick District Council offices on Milverton Hill between 8am and 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Late night shoppers can also park for free after 3pm in the Covent Garden Multi-Storey and surface car parks on Thursday 6th, 13th and 20th December. In order to have one point of reference for all issues effecting our local communities, we opted to build a new website.
This website provides you with contact information for your local Conservative Councillors, links to local useful community websites and news updates relating to our geographical area. |
