COVENTRY GIGAFACTORY PRESS RELEASE 21st OCt

You may have seen a press release with regards to the Gigafactory in which it states that production will start in 2025.
 
We were made aware of this late last night and have raised a significant complaint about the press release as it is in effect a presupposed position by a number of people NON of whom are members of WDC nor are they part of the planning process.

The facts are the plan has yet to come forward and there are many questions to be addressed and you can be absolutely clear that both Pam and I will be all over this at every stage.

 We know that the press release has caused both concern and anger across the community and would ask that you trust us to keep you informed all the way.

We also recognise the difficulty of all this and the position we have made very clear to you as your elected members has not changed in any way.
