HS2 Update- Cubbington Woods included

Over the weekend its been noticed that certain political parties and individuals are making claims that they have been heavily involved with the issues around HS2.
This is simply NOT TRUE and we have been deafened by their silence , on the other hand, for a number of years now Cllr Pam Redford & Cllr Trevor Wright have been ABSOLUTELY committed to supporting the Community to fight and make the best we can with regards to HS2.
In the past 10 days alone , Cllr Pam Redford has visited the  protesters encampment in Cubbington.
Both Cllr Trevor Wright & Cllr Pam Redford has taken the matters up with the relative ministers involved  , including Warwickshire County Council, Warwick District Council and the local MPs.
Additionally Cllr Pam Redford has been liaising with the Police to ensure the safety of all during this difficult period and both have been talking with and discussing the issues with all of our local communities.

This is in ADDITITON  to all the work over the past year with the community, HS2. Sir Mark Worthington and government ministers all of which has been a contributory factor to bringing about the review NOW TAKING PLACE.
We have  ACTULLY  being working and supporting our community for a number of years now which those involved actually know what is going on. (as we have always said we would) 
As I have said until now the silence of others have been deafening, but now its a bit more public there seems to a number of people claiming to be heavily involved which is simply not true. 

Cllr Pam Redford and Cllr Trevor Wright are working tirelessly to both challenge HS2 or if forced to accept it to make sure that we get the best we possibly can for OUR Communities.
We don't just talk about it for political traction WE ACTUALLY DO IT.
We are YOUR local COUNCILLORS working on issues that are important to you (just as we always have)
