HS2 UPDATE on ground works in our area

A new notice is now available regarding HS2 works in Middleton.
We will be carrying out ground investigations, these works will help us to understand the local ground conditions and allow us to plan the future movement of water pipelines in the area.
The pipeline we will be diverting in the future supplies the local area and we need to carry out the work to continue to ensure a safe and reliable water supply during HS2’s construction and operation.
While we carry out the ground investigations we will need to put a road closure in place on Church Lane from Tamworth Road to Crowberry Lane. There will be signs showing the diversion routes via Tamworth Road and Crowberry Lane.
