What we are doingDue to an increase in traffic the (B4115) Ashow Road / Birmingham Road crossroads is to have permanent 4-way traffic lights installed. To complete this work safely, a three-week road closure is required, 24 hours a day seven days a week from Monday 15 August 2022 to Friday 2 September 2022. A fully signed diversion will be in operation during this closure.
With a potential increase in traffic over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the road will reopen from 6pm Friday 26 August to 8am Tuesday 30 August.  Our workforce will be on site 8am to 6pm daily. Please note some night shift operations may be required, but these will not be intrusive. There will be no weekend working, and access to properties will be maintained throughout.
