putting a new bridge across the a45 warwickshire

For a couple of weeks now we have been advising you of the closure of the A45 to have a bridge put in place.
 It happened over the weekend , it wasn’t without its issues due to high winds and with thanks to the contractors and Highways England they provided us with a number of pictures showing the process which we decided it might be a bit more interesting and I hope you enjoy it.

 Don’t forget the road will be closed in both directions every night this week for installation of the suspension wires, although the bridge is self-supporting it needs the tower and wires in order to stand the weight of the traffic.
