Government grants to small business and the retail, hospitality and leisure industry
As you may be aware there are various grants available to support local business’s by way of Grant Funds which Warwick District Council are paying out on behalf of the Government
Already WDC (Warwick District Council) have sent both letters and emails to over 800 business in our area however to date less than half have applied.
This money is currently sitting in the WDC bank account and we want to get it paid out as soon as possible.
If you know any local businesses that are finding it difficult now especially the small shop keepers etc we need to encourage them to apply without delay.
As the portfolio holder Richard Hales said – “We certainly don’t want to have to give the money back to central government”
