Last week we updated you on the position with regards to the grants made to small businesses in the Warwick District Council area and by way of an update we have now processed 1502 grants totalling £19.7m.
We have another 250 grant requests in the system, however if you know/think of any businesses who haven’t applied , or who may have slipped through the cracks please encourage them to apply so we can get these funds to them asap. To apply the full criteria is here: - Small Business Grant Fund: Under the Small Business Grant Fund (SBGF) all businesses in England in receipt of Small Business Rates Relief (SBRR) or Rural Rates Relief (RRR)as of the 11 March will be eligible for a payment of £10,000. It is estimated that this will apply to some 730,000 businesses across England Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund: Under the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant (RHLG) businesses in England that would have been in receipt of the Expanded Retail Discount (which covers retail, hospitality and leisure)on 11 March, with a rateable value of less than £51,000,will be eligible for cash grants of up to £25,000 per property. Eligible businesses in these sectors with a property that has a rateable value of up to and including £15,000 will receive a grant of £10,000.
