We understand that things are very difficult at the present time for everyone.  We want to assure all our residents that if it’s local issues that affects our community, we will, as your District Councillors, continue to be at the forefront, working for the benefit of residents.

That is what we believe you would expect of us.

All through the COVID 19 pandemic we have been active in the community, working in new ways to deal with all local issues, opportunities and concerns such as:

• The impact and disruption caused by HS2 and highways developments.
• The impact and disruption caused by the proposed Giga Factory.
• The impact of housing & commercial developments in OUR COMMUNITY.
• The protection of green space and The Green Belt from excessive development.
• Improving healthcare accessibility in rural areas.
• Supporting the procurement of Community and Development grants.
• Protecting and improving services to the rural economies.
• Policing and anti-social behaviour
• The inclusion of sustainable transport solutions such as walkways and cycle lanes.
• Ensuring the “Rural Communities” have a strong voice in all major district wide decisions.

The role you elected us to do is SUPPORTING YOU on our LOCAL ISSUES. You CAN be sure that is what we have been doing and will continue to do.
